Barred Owl Re-Nest 4-8-16

Re-nest the baby Barred Owl

Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife is a registered 501c3 non-profit wildlife rehabilitation facility based in the Tampa Bay area and serving Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, and assisting in neighboring counties. Lead by a state and federally permitted wildlife rehabilitator, Kris Porter, we are a team of volunteers who work to rescue sick, injured and orphaned wildlife so that we may rehabilitate and (when possible) release them back to the wild.

It is our goal to only get involved when needed and to do what is best for the animal, which is not always an easy decision. We have several cases that we constantly monitor in the wild while others are removed and assessed at our home base. We work closely with several other local and regional facilities to make sure that all of our cases receive the care they need and when release is not possible, but a good quality of life is still possible, place them into a facility for long term care.

We have many bright plans for our future which we cannot accomplish without your continued support! We are 100% volunteer and all funds go to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of the animals. Please consider a one time tax deductible donation or become a “Conservation Companion” by pledging a monthly gift. We are looking for corporate sponsors to help us build our much needed flight cages and offset the everyday expenses of running a non-profit organization.
