Join Us and Our Animal Ambassadors at 2026 Events!

We may spend most of our time rescuing wildlife and caring for animals in need, but we love getting out into the community too. Throughout 2026, you’ll find us at some of the biggest and most exciting local events. Swing by, say hello, and meet the incredible Animal Ambassadors who help us share our mission.

Our booth is a great place to talk with volunteers, learn about conservation, and enjoy a fun day out while supporting local rescues, businesses, and community causes.

Catch us at major 2026 events such as:

  • Shark Con,
  • Sea Turtle Awareness Day,
  • Clearwater Marine Aquarium's Reptilepalooza,
  • Bourbon on the Bayou,
  • Raptor Fest,
  • The Annual Lutz Arts and Crafts Festival,
  • Tarpon Springs Eco Fest
  • Beer Bourbon and BBQ
  • Temple Terrace Garden Club's Spring Market

These events are family‑friendly, so bring the kids and make a day of it!Check the event calendar below to see where we’ll be appearing next—we can’t wait to see you.

Host Your Own Wildlife Rehabilitation Event in 2026

In addition to attending many of the major community events throughout the year, you can help us expand our mission by hosting an event or inviting us to yours. Bringing people together is one of the most effective ways to raise awareness about the importance of protecting Florida’s native wildlife.

When you host an event, we can provide knowledgeable volunteers and—when possible—one of our Animal Ambassadors. We also bring educational materials, brochures, and adoption kits to help your guests learn more about wildlife rescue and conservation.

We appear at:

  • Community events,
  • Social gatherings,
  • Club meetings,
  • Educational programs,
  • In classrooms, and
  • A variety of other events and fundraisers.

During each appearance, our volunteers lead a Q&A session covering our ambassadors, native Florida wildlife, and the critical role wildlife rescue plays in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.

Because Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife is entirely volunteer‑operated, 100% of donations go directly toward caring for sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Events and fundraisers make a meaningful difference in keeping our rescues safe and supported.
